We understand the modern demands of the game, and when colleges and pro coaches ask for data, our athletes stand out with objective reports and clear deliverables.
Non-members can still book lessons, and MVP members receive exclusive discounted rates.
Founders slots are extremely limited — only 15 athletes at each tier will lock in these discounted rates and benefits. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Founders are grandfathered into these exclusive rates as long as they renew each year.
We encourage new athletes to begin with a 60-minute session. During this time, we:

Dozens of athletes advancing into professional baseball
Our coaching staff doesn’t just talk about elite velocity — they’ve lived it. Every coach on our team has reached the upper 90s or beyond on the mound, combining personal achievement with coaching expertise to help the next generation climb even higher.
With over 40 years of combined Statcast-era experience, representing 16 MLB organizations and more than six international teams, our staff brings unmatched credibility to the Northern Illinois area.
This way, every lesson builds momentum instead of repeating the same cues over and over.
This Credibility Section should sit immediately after either the On-Ramp Experience or right before the Membership Options — that way parents see the “proof” before they see the price. It reinforces “this is worth it” before the commitment ask.
We know firsthand the risks of this game — every one of our staff members has faced serious injuries, including Tommy John surgery. That’s why we take a practical, foundation-first approach to development. Just like you wouldn’t build a 90-story skyscraper without a strong base, we won’t advance an athlete’s career without first identifying and addressing potential risks. Our training is built to maximize progress while minimizing injury risk.
Not at all. Research shows that starting performance training at a younger age actually improves motor skill development and neuromuscular connectivity, especially in rotational sports like baseball. This not only increases the likelihood of competing at higher levels but also helps reduce long-term injury risk. Younger athletes are uniquely positioned to benefit from structured training when it’s properly guided.
Recruiting isn’t just about exposure — it’s about proof. At GUD Baseball, we partner with Trackman, Hawkins Dynamics, and other top data-driven platforms to provide deliverables that give coaches and scouts confidence in your athlete’s ability. Combine that with a staff that’s deeply connected across MLB, college programs, and international leagues, and your athlete doesn’t just train — they stand out in the recruiting process.
We get it — athletes are busy. Our programming is designed with flexibility in mind. Whether in-house or hybrid, we adapt to your athlete’s schedule so they stay on track with their development. It’s not about being here 6 days a week — it’s about consistent, tailored progress that works with their reality.
Because we put athletes first — always. We don’t control playing time or chase team agendas. Our focus is development without bias, providing athletes with the tools, data, and culture they need to succeed. While there are other good programs out there, what sets us apart is a player-first environment backed by MLB-proven coaches, cutting-edge technology, and a community-driven approach that keeps athletes motivated and accountable.
Results vary, but we let our numbers speak for themselves. In 2024 alone, 59 athletes trained with us for an average of 6 months and collectively gained 326 MPH in velocity — averaging +5.5 MPH each. Some athletes jumped as high as +15 MPH in a year, while others added 2–3 MPH depending on age, strength levels, and their athletic profile. We don’t make empty promises — we provide objective data that tracks real progress.
Don’t just take our word for it – here’s what happens when high school pitchers stop trying to figure it out alone and start working with a proven system:
St. Louis Cardinals Organization
"GUD Baseball's programming helped me understand better how to rotate more efficiently, which is something I've always struggled with as a pitcher, so I'm hopeful that it will carry over when I'm at game speed this upcoming season. It's nice to have some off-season structure."
The Result: Colin went from sitting 72-74 mph to topping 77, then 78-79 mph topping 80 mph after implementing his mechanical adjustments.
New York Yankees Organization
"In the 4-5 months that I've worked with DJ and GUD, I've explored new levels of strength that I didn't know I had anymore. When I first started, the first 4 weeks seemed like baby steps, and I wasn't sure if I was getting any stronger. I learned it was a process, and I eventually got to the point where my 70-80% effort days I was lifting became more than I normally would on max-out days. Not only was I lifting more, but I was also lifting the weight quicker and was overall feeling more explosive. In 4 months, I've PR'ed on almost every exercise, and my body feels great."
"Had a great bullpen today compared to last week! Hit 81 once last week and sat 79. Today I topped 85 and hit that number 5 or 6 times!"

"Yeah I was just making sure but so far I'm really liking these workouts!"
The Personal Touch: Regular check-ins and video analysis throughout the program ensure every athlete stays on track
Toronto Blue Jays Organization
“During my previous off-season, DJ (and John) pushed me to get a little better every single day. Constant feedback from them gives me plenty of confidence going into spring training.”
